What is Baccarat?
Baccarat is one of the most popular card games in the Live Casino world. The rules are straightforward, and the game blends luck with strategy. You predict whether the Player side or the Banker side will win — or whether it will be a Tie — and the side closest to 9 points takes it. mmk9 offers both Classic Baccarat and Live Baccarat tables with real dealers.
Baccarat is growing more popular in Myanmar every year, and the mmk9 platform delivers the game with full Myanmar-language support. You can jump in with as little as 20,000 Ks via KBZPay and start playing instantly.
Basic Rules for Playing Baccarat
Understanding how cards are dealt and how points are counted will help you enjoy Baccarat more. The main rules are explained below.
How Points Are Counted
Ace = 1 point, 2–9 = face value, 10 / J / Q / K = 0 points. Only the last digit of the total from two or three cards is used. For example, 7+6=13 → 3 points.
NoteTypes of Bets
Bet on Player — if Player wins, you get 1:1. Bet on Banker — if Banker wins, you get 1:1 (commission applies). Bet on Tie — pays 8:1.
BettingThird Card Rules
After Player or Banker receives two cards, a third card may be drawn according to the rules. If either side scores 8 or 9, it is called a "Natural" and no more cards are drawn.

| Tie | 8:1 | Low probability but high payout |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | Player's two cards are a pair |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | Banker's two cards are a pair |

Baccarat Strategies and Tips
Baccarat is a game of chance, but approaching it with a clear strategy gives you better control. The following tips are valued by mmk9 players.
- Bet on Banker more often — Most players say the Banker bet has a slightly better edge than Player over the long run.
- Set a budget — Decide on an amount before you play and stick to it.
- Be careful with Tie — Tie pays well, but the odds of it landing are low, so it's not a bet to place often.
- Use the road map — Live Baccarat tables show a Road Map of past results that players use to make their decisions.
- Know when to stop while you're ahead — Walking away while you're winning is one of the key signs of a responsible player.
